The '80s and '90s Transformers designs and storylines remain some of the most popular incarnations of the long-running characters. The Michael Bay movies brought the Autobots and Decepticons to new audiences and created clashes on a bigger scale than the franchise had ever seen, but there has always been the hope that some of that classic inspiration would be reflected in the movies.
Enter TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS, directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback. The movie is a sort-of sequel to the similarly '80s-influenced BUMBLEBEE, complete with classic Transformers characters running wild through a globetrotting '90s adventure. We talked with Caple, Ramos, Fishback, and co-star Tobe Nwigwe to learn all about the new movie.
