In TICKET TO PARADISE, Kaitlyn Dever stars as a young woman whose impulsive marriage plans alarm her divorced parents to such a degree that they set aside their differences to sabotage the wedding. With George Clooney and Julia Roberts reuniting on the big screen for the first time since 2016, this movie is a dream vacation for romantic comedy fans.
We talked to Dever and her co-stars, Maxime Bouttier and Lucas Bravo to learn about their experience making TICKET TO PARADISE.
"It was a dream come true even hearing that that I was going to be in this movie where George Clooney and Julia Roberts were going to be playing my parents," Dever says. "And then being in this beautiful setting this just gorgeous location was just really a breath of fresh air I've never shot in a place like this before in my life."
Dever has done both comedy and drama and says they're different experiences. "You always think that comedy is going to be easier than drama but it's never — they both come with their challenges. It's an important thing to remember, but I think that it definitely does work a different part of your brain. Not necessarily that it's easier than drama but… you're working a different part of yourself and getting into a different groove."
