In MORBIUS, Jared Leto stars as the eponymous title character, a doctor whose quest for a cure to a rare disease leads him down a very dark path. His unusual treatment for the condition turns him into a creature of the night, and soon the man who has sworn to preserve life must battle with the part of himself that can only survive by consuming blood.
Jared Leto explains Morbius as "a film about transformation" while director Daniel Espinosa calls the movie "a dream come to life" as he also emphasized both the outsider aspect of the character and the daunting aspect of tackling a character who is a favorite of outspoken creators like Quentin Tarantino.
