Pro tip: Think twice before jumping in a billionaire's jet to head off to a private island. Maybe just don't do it at all. So many horror movies are about terrible events that unfold when a few young people end up in a remote location with a crazy person. When the crazy person in question is also insanely wealthy, luring people into a trap might not be so difficult.

This high-energy trailer sets up the superficially-appealing and ultimately unsettling scenario, and gives us a lot of hints about just how messed-up the events of the story become. This trailer probably doesn't reveal quite as much as it seems to, but any spoiler-averse readers might want to watch only the first half.

Who's in the Cast of Blink Twice?
Channing Tatum stars as Slater King, the charming, possibly feral man who is surrounded by a coterie of followers and other hangers-on. Two new recruits into that circle are played by Naomi Ackie and Alia Shawkat. Some of the members of Slater King's entourage are played by Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment, and Levon Hawke. Adria Arjona plays Sarah, and Kyle MacLachlan and Geena Davis have roles as well.
BLINK TWICE opens on August 23.
