Everyone has a favorite classic movie, and we love to see old movies in theaters. When you've only seen the classics at home there's nothing quite like seeing your fave up on the big screen. Fortunately, we show many classic movies here at Cinemark!
The beginning of 2025 features the return of two big movie series: HARRY POTTER and TWILIGHT. But there's also a rare chance to see the original HELLRAISER on the big screen, which is the perfect Valentine's Day primer, if you're into that sort of thing. And our "Love You to Death" series features five fan-favorite horror titles from the last few decades, including BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and MIDSOMMAR — all great movies with a Valentine's Day appeal that isn't exactly what you'll find from Hallmark.
Here are the classic movies playing in Cinemark theaters over the next few months.
Classic Movies to Watch in Movie Theaters
The Goonies 40th Anniversary
Steven Spielberg, Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon films) and Chris Columbus (Harry Potter films) collaborate to create an epic children’s adventure of subterranean caverns, sunken galleons and a fortune in lost pirate treasure waiting to be found by a group of friends known as the Goonies. With brothers Mikey (Sean Astin) and Brand’s (Josh Brolin) house slated for demolition by greedy land developers, the boys decide their only hope lies in finding a long-lost treasure. They uncover a treasure map and with their friends descend to a subterranean sea and an abandoned galleon in this fun-filled, fast-paced adventure. Added value includes Historian and critic Leonard Maltin providing insights into the films, sharing his one-of-a-kind expertise with fans. [January 19 and 20, 2025]
The Silence of the Lambs | Love You to Death Series
Jodie Foster stars as Clarice Starling, a top student at the FBI's training academy. Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out. [February 1]
Bram Stoker’s Dracula | Love You to Death Series
Count Dracula, a 15th-century prince, is condemned to live off the blood of the living for eternity. Young lawyer Jonathan Harker is sent to Dracula's castle to finalize a land deal, but when the Count sees a photo of Harker's fiancée, Mina, the spitting image of his dead wife, he imprisons him and sets off for London to track her down. [February 2]
Midsommar | Love You to Death Series
Horror is where the heart is! Enjoy our lineup of frightful flicks as part of the Cinemark-exclusive “Love You To Death” series. A couple travel to Sweden to visit their friend's rural hometown for its fabled midsummer festival, but what begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult. My Bloody Valentine (1981) | Love You to Death Series
Horror is where the heart is! Enjoy our lineup of frightful flicks as part of the Cinemark-exclusive “Love You To Death” series. A decades-old folk tale surrounding a deranged murderer killing those who celebrate Valentine's Day turns out to be true to legend when a group defies the killer's order and people start turning up dead. Hellraiser

Bella does indeed survive her honeymoon, but a new complication arises when she discovers that she's pregnant, and the child is growing at an alarming rate. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn | Part 2
Bella awakes, as a vampire, from her life-threatening labor, and her newborn daughter, Renesmee, proves to be very special indeed. While Bella adjusts to her new state of being, Renesmee experiences accelerated growth. When the Volturi learn of the baby's existence, they declare her to be an abomination and sentence the Cullens to death. Bella, Edward and the rest of the clan seek help from allies around the world to protect their family. [February 12]

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter's adventures continue... After a long summer with the horrid Dursleys, Harry Potter is thwarted in his attempts to board the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin his second year. Harry's only transportation option is a magical flying car, but, unfortunately, it crashes into a valuable (and clearly vexed) Whomping Willow. Still, all this seems like a day in the park compared to what awaits Harry that fall within the haunted halls of Hogwarts. Chilling, malevolent voices whisper from the walls only to Harry, and it seems certain that his classmate Draco Malfoy is out to get him. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 20th Anniversary
It's Harry Potter's fourth term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Harry, Ron and Hermione look forward to the international Quidditch finals. Harry dreams of spending time with the alluring Cho Chang. He wants to be a normal 14-year-old wizard . . . But Harry is not normal--even by wizarding standards. This term, for the first time in hundreds of years, a competition will be held between three schools of wizardry, and contestants will be magically chosen for the very dangerous event.
