Wolf ManWolf Man | Cinemark

The Universal Monsters are some of the greatest horror characters in cinema. Now Leigh Whannell, who co-created SAW and made the great new THE INVISIBLE MAN movie a few years back, turns to another classic Universal monster: WOLF MAN. Christopher Abbott stars as Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home. With his marriage fraying, Blake persuades his wife Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter. But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without. Captain America: Brave New WorldCaptain America: Brave New World | Cinemark

Anthony Mackie's version of Captain America finally gets to take center stage on the big screen, and he's got a big red Hulk to deal with. After meeting with newly-elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. [February 14]

 

The Legend of OchiThe Legend of Ochi | Cinemark

This fantasy looks like a modern version of the fairy tale movies that seemed to flourish in the 1980s. In a remote northern village, a young girl, Yuri, is raised to never go outside after dark and to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the ochi. When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family. [February 28]

 

Mickey 17Mickey 17 | Cinemark

When a director like Bong Joon Ho (PARASITE, MEMORIES OF MURDER) works with a maverick star like Robert Pattinson — especially when the subject is a sci-fi story about the nature of existence — we pay attention. The unlikely hero of MICKEY 17, Mickey Barnes (Pattinson), has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living. Disney's Snow WhiteDisney's Snow White | Cinemark

“Disney’s Snow White” is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. “Disney’s Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb and produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer, and features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan have made a few great movies together, like CREED and BLACK PANTHER. Now they have re-teamed for a movie that Warner Bros. is keeping shrouded in mystery. All we know so far is that, in SINNERS, twin brothers, both played by Jordan, return to their home town while trying to leave their troubled lives behind. There, they discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. [April 18]

 

Thunderbolts*Thunderbolts* | Cinemark

Marvel Studios and a crew of indie veterans who sold out present Thunderbolts*, an irreverent team-up featuring depressed assassin Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) alongside the MCU’s least anticipated band of misfits. The film also returns to the screen Marvel Cinematic Universe characters Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), in addition to some exciting new faces. A Big Bold Beautiful JourneyA Big Bold Beautiful Journey | Cinemark

This somewhat mysterious romantic drama stars Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell. Directed by South Korean filmmaker Kogonada (AFTER YANG, "The Acolyte"), it is based on a script by Seth Reiss. In 2020, when the script landed on the Black List of popular unproduced screenplays, the story was described as "After both attending the same wedding solo, David and Sarah embark on a big, bold, beautiful journey with a little help from their 1996 Passat GPS and a little bit of magic for the road trip of their lives." F1 stars Brad Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. Filmed on actual Grand Prix weekends, the fictional drama features real drivers alongside the actors as APXGP competes against the titans of the sport. The star-studded cast also includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) directs. [June 27]

Marvel's "First Family" finally comes to the MCU in a 1960s-set adventure. FIRST STEPS stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, and Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, aka The Invisible Woman. It features Joseph Quinn as Sue's brother Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, who is transformed into the walking pile of orange rocks called The Thing. The massively-popular graphic novel series for kids is adapted into a second movie following the original audience hit. Even better, the original voice cast is all back in action! The Bad Guys are struggling to find trust and acceptance in their newly minted lives as Good Guys, when they are pulled out of retirement and forced to do ‘one last job’ by an all-female squad of criminals. [August 1]

That might not be the most exciting title, but it's also not final. Many things about the new movie from the director of PHANTOM THREAD and THERE WILL BE BLOOD have been kept secret, starting with the title and the story. But we know that Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Sean Penn, and Alana Haim star in the film, which was made on a big-budget scale and marks the first PTA movie set for an IMAX release. [August 8]

It seems virtually impossible to find someone to play a towering artist like Michael Jackson, which is why a biopic about the King of Pop has been so long in coming. In the end, producers found their lead close to home. Jaafar Jackson, Michael's nephew, plays the singer in a movie directed by Antoine Fuqua. Expect MICHAEL to tell Jackson's full life story, and to give audiences the chance to be front and center for some of his most iconic performances. [October 3]

 

Tron: AresTron: Ares | Cinemark

One of Disney's most unusual series — and one of the greatest for visual spectacle — returns with a new chapter. In the third TRON movie, a highly sophisticated program, Ares, is sent out into the human world on a dangerous mission, which leads to the first true encounter between humanity and their Artificial Intelligence creations. [October 10]

 

Predator: BadlandsPredator: Badlands | Cinemark

Dan Trachtenberg, who made the streaming-only Predator movie PREY, returns with PREDATOR: BADLANDS, and this time the movie will play in theaters! But BADLANDS is not a sequel to PREY. This standalone movie takes place on an alien planet, where two sisters whose family bond is tested as they pursue different paths. More importantly perhaps, is that the Predator is (finally!) the main character — perhaps even the hero of the movie. [November 7]

 

Wicked: For GoodWicked: For Good | Cinemark

The second half of Universal's bold and glorious movie adaptation of "Wicked" arrives almost exactly a year after the first. See the conclusion of the untold story of the witches of Oz as Elphaba fully embraces her power and many in the Land of Oz deal with the aftermath of Dorothy Gale's arrival from Kansas. The title refers to the musical's emotionally climactic tune, "For Good," and this movie's rendition of that song is one of the moments we're most eager to see in 2025. [November 26]

 

Zootopia 2Zootopia 2 | Cinemark

Has it really been almost a decade since ZOOTOPIA? In the much-anticipated sequel, detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. [November 26]

 

Avatar: Fire and AshAvatar: Fire and Ash | Cinemark

It has only been two years since James Cameron proved that AVATAR could be a cultural event the second time around. There's no doubt that this third film will be any different. FIRE AND ASH introduces new lands and people of Pandora. More importantly, it pushes forward the character conflict, and the father/son dynamics, that became so important in THE WAY OF WATER. [December 19]

 

The HousemaidThe Housemaid | Cinemark

Paul Feig (A SIMPLE FAVOR, BRIDESMAIDS) directs this adaptation of Freida McFadden's novel of the same title, scripted by Rebecca Sonnenshine. The thriller stars Sydney Sweeney as the struggling Millie, who takes a job as housemaid to wealthy Nina and Andrew Winchester (Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar). Soon she begins to uncover dangerous secrets. [December 25]

 

 

 

WildwoodWildwood | Cinemark

LAIKA’s next animated feature film is Wildwood, based on the bestselling novel written by Colin Meloy, lead singer and songwriter for The Decemberists, and illustrated by Carson Ellis. Wildwood is a tale of love, loss, sacrifice and secrets, and of the magic you can find on your doorstep, if you’re willing to look for it. [Release Date TBA]
