It's been more than ten years since the last time the Jackass crew appeared on the big screen. Now they're back, in JACKASS FOREVER! We got a chance to speak with director Jeff Tremaine and stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, and Preston Lacy.
Johnny Knoxville admits that some stunts have sources in strange places — "I'll see something in a cartoon," he said. "The bottom line is it comes naturally to us to come up with these stupid ideas! We bounce them off each other and they turn into even stupider ideas and then we shoot 'em," says Tremaine.
Some of the ideas aren't just "stupid" (their words, not ours!), they have lasting effects. "[The stunts] are as dangerous as you could ever imagine, and then a little bit more," says Ehren "Danger" McGhehey. "It's torture, and it's fun."
